  1. Hello! I am an aerodynamicist working on UAV research, hoping to learn about drone-based delivery and tethered/slung load applications. I am looking forward to talking to UAV pilots and developers to get insights on these. Please comment here if you have ideas, suggestions, experience to share! Thanks!
  2. Greetings. I am one of two members of a team from Atlanta, Georgia trying to learn about using drones for slung load delivery in various applications. My teammate will register and introduce himself as soon as he gets off the phone talking to firefighters in Hawaii. In our usual work we conduct experimental research on the aerodynamics of helicopters, slung loads, and multiple rotors in general. Hope to talk to all of you, particularly anyone who will talk to us about drones used with slung loads, drones used in delivery, slung loads with helicopters, and the business of drones in general. Safety concerns? Insurance issues? Crime-fighting?
  3. Hi From Atlanta

Hi from the Atlanta Georgia area. Just got my temp certificate. As part of my day job I use ground based laser scanners, so hope to supplement that with drone footage from a Phantom 4 or Inspire eventually. I also will be getting a Mavic of my own to use at weekends, my goal is to make videos of national, state and local parks just for fun. I have a land survey background so may eventually branch out, but that's a long way away for now. I'm hoping I'll learn a lot of the admin portion here, such as how to get flying permissions in the many restricted airspaces in my area.

  6. Hello everyone! This company was created as a way to combine my passion with my background as an independent Cat Adjuster. Over 11 years I have inspected millions of dollars worth of claims around the country for many of the leading providers in the US. I take great pride in the skills I have mastered and the quality rigs I have hand built through the years. We are finally in a position in life where we can really devote the time and attention to detail required to provide business to business professional UAV services. We have all of the necessary licensure, certifications, exemptions and flight time required to be a major asset to the industry. We are available for every service imaginable, except weddings. We don't do that. Just no. We are looking forward to being able to bring our passion, abilities, and services to the skies with all of you. Our website is active, as well as a work in progress/under construction. We are also new to the social media scene, so any tips for getting the most out of those platforms is very much appreciated! Thank you for letting us have a space here to introduce ourselves! I hope to be able to contribute as well as the veterans here! See you around! 7. Hello All, I am an architectural photographer in Atlanta and I am looking for a drone operator in the area with whom I might potentially collaborate with on some projects. I am looking for someone who flies a D J I Inspire 1 with an X5 or X5R camera with Dual Controls. I would want to work with someone who can control the flight path while I compose the still images. Thank you! Jonathan
