A few years ago I started a small video production company, CRD Multimedia LLC. I do mostly free work for non profit organizations. I have done a few commercial jobs. I also made a feature movie, BLIND VISIONS, a micro-budget thriller/horror film. I have flown manned aircraft in the past. I had a private license with an instrument and a multi engine rating. I have not flown an aircraft in many years. I got interested in flying drones last year. I recent bought a DJI Mavic which I love. I have recently got some requests for drone video work. I know you need to be a certified commercial drone pilot to charge for your services just like manned aircraft. My research led to believe this program is the best way to prepared for the exam and be a better pilot. I have taken several FAA exams in the past and they are much tougher than many people think.
Hello everyone. I am new to the sport. Just got my first quadcopter in December. It's a Hubsan X4. My flying is mediocre but improving. Just today, I tried to fire it up and it blinked twice and quit. I changed the battery multiple time incldine to ones I knew should be charged, but no life in the copter. Are there any suggestions out there or should I buy a new one and use it for spare parts? Thanks for any help.
Hello all, Name here is Joe Cro, and I'm a avid Amateur radio operator (callsign N3IBX) and multicopter enthusiast. I'd like to converse with and meet other enthusiasts in my area. If you live nearby or want to email me my email address is: email@example.com. I'm relatively new to this hobby and am still in the learning how to fly safely and properly. I currently have a few quadcopters and very recently acquired a Syma X8C and have a few other smaller ones including FPV types. Hope to hear from you and best regards, Joe
