DroneLogbook is launching a 1st responder logbook that will be tailored to the needs of public safety officers (vs commercial). The new site is www.safetydrone.org so if you are (or know any) a first responder feel free to try it out (it is free through August) and give us feedback for changes. After August we are looking at $50 per year for an operator but are also looking to better understand budgets etc.. Thanks.
Hello All, my name is Mattheo and I am a Police Interpreter. it is important to stay up to date with EU / International Law about drones, and staying up to date with the new technology! Knowing and believing drones can be of great help (medical, military, police, government, building company's, event video, night clubs, party, tourism, Marketing and Advertising) it can also have it's pros and cons. Privacy can be so easily breached. ex. Your neighbour flying around your windows to spy on you but at same time a Medical drone has been in prototype.
Hi all, I have recently started a new job with a company that is producing the next generation of drones. Without giving too much away, our drones will significantly increase the flight time, distance and payload capabilities that that restrict existing drones. Our drones will also be able to withstand greater environmental conditions i.e. higher wind and heavier rainfall. As with existing drones, our next generation drone can be used in a multitude of markets from sports, film & entertainment recording, commercial, search & rescue, Inspection, emergency response, Oil & Gas, renewable energy, delivery companies etc. I would like to hear from anyone that has came across operations that have been restricted by current drone limitations or who may have an application that our technological advances would be advantageous. Regards Chris
