  1. Hopefully you were able to figure this out but I found the process quite painless. I submitted my request for registration at https://caabahamas.com/drone-registration/. A couple days later I got a reply from the Personnel Licensing Inspector for the Civil Aviation Authority Bahamas with some follow up questions on my flight plans and where I was staying. Quite simple stuff.. like where I plan to fly on what day and at what altitude. A day or two later I got my certification letter emailed to me. I just had to print it out and keep it with me for when I got to customs in the Bahamas. Since I was flying for personal use I did not have to pay any retainer fees or anything. Amazing place!

  2. Thanks Chase. After speaking with legal counsel, I've decided not to fly the mission because the creek extends beyond his property. The potential risk outweigh the reward. 😕

  3. If your phone is not connecting to the app even though you are able to connect to the drone Wi-Fi, turn off the mobile data on the phone. Then reopen and reconnect and it will work.

  4. @Nick Thoman headed to Kauai next Friday for two weeks. Been going on and off for 30 years so saw a lot of familiar places. Love your video and editing. Great job.

  5. Just starting Ground School and flying the Autel X-star. My application will be in the Fire and Emergency services for a couple of small rural Fire Districts. Lots of interest in drones here in the Willamette Valley (Eugene area). Several agencies use them for SAR and Fire ground mapping. Looking forward to great info!
