I was having a devil of a time getting my Holy Stone HS120D to sync up with my Android Phone app. I could connect to the drone's WiFi no problem. But the app refused to connect to the drone. I couldn't find a definitive solution. Then I remembered having this problem connecting a weather device and the advice that worked for it worked out for the drone. Turn off the phone's mobile (cellular data) network. Then turn on the drone, connect to the WiFi, and open the app. After that, you should be good to go.

If your phone is not connecting to the app even though you are able to connect to the drone Wi-Fi, turn off the mobile data on the phone. Then reopen and reconnect and it will work.
