  1. I've done very little drone real estate photography. Most of my clients are RE Salespersons requesting photos for mid-price homes and won't pay the fees that I request. I shoot perhaps 3 or 4 homes a month, I turn down twice that much because they won't pay my fees. I feel my fees are reasonable when considering time and equipment involved, a single family home I charge $200 for a drone or a still ground session, I offer a special for both inside and outside drone at $275 for now. Most RE Sales people in this area want everything at $125.00; not worth the time to pack up and go to a site.
  2. Hi Bob, Limerick PA here.

  3. Mike from Limerick, Pennsylvania a small community northwest of Philadelphia near Valley Forge in Montgomery County. I am a semi-pro photographer if that really means anything. What I do on the professional side is Real Estate Photography mostly residential with a few commercial buildings. Most of my commercial work has been exterior photographs as the residential has been for agents’ new listings inside and out to be used on their websites or the MLS. As the drone industry grows, especially in photography, I want to add aerial drone photography to my photography business. Never been asked to provide the service but I believe it will become an important part of real estate photography. I don’t own a drone yet, look around plan to buy a cheap one to lean and practice. My photography background spans over a period of 50 years with 12 years as a Pa Air National Guard photographer in the 111th Combat Support Sq. base at the former Willow Grove NAS. An interesting point is they are now flying drones, MQ-9. As a hobbyist I enjoy shooting landscapes, flowers and waterfalls see www.photographybymikefisher.com. On the professional side I shoot events and real estate see www.realesatefoto.com. I spent 40 years in the commercial corporate real estate industry developing retailers such as Blockbuster, Parts America, McDonald's, KFC and others. With all these companies I used some type of aerial photography in the corporate presentation. I shoot events for different organizations and yearly for Secret Santa sponsor by the Committee for the Benefit of the Children. Sum it all up, hope to learn and share here.
