  1. The X5SW is the WiFi enabled drone that can transmit video from its camera to your smart phone.
  2. Don't do it, step up 25.00 and get the Husban. I have the Syma X5C. It is so light and powerful that it is super easy to lose connection to when it climbs fast and high. I think I should add a couple fishing weights to it to keep it under control. The problem is backing off the throttle doesn't see it descend, it just keeps floating up there. The only way to get 'er down it so pull back all the way on the throttle and let 'er free fall, then power back on. I've pulled this drone off my neighbors roofs, out of their back yards, out of a dozen or more trees... I'm switching gears to something with altitude hold
  3. Ha! There is a bald eagle nest in an area I fly. Also several red tail hawks, and likely other hawks too. I'm no expert though. I wanted to fly above the nest and get a straight down shot, but after having seen what birds of prey do to drones on YouTube, I thought better of it and now steer clear.
  4. Aloha, I've been droning on and on for about a year now. Currently flying the Phantom 4, patiently waiting for the P5 In my free time I've been building a drone pilots directory. When I looked online I didn't find much that would serve as an asset, so I started building something I hope the working pilots community can actually get some value out of. It is just ready for the general drone pilot public to test out adding listings. Sheesh, my eyes are blurry from looking at code all day. Looking forward to flying tomorrow. Anybody near Fort Collins? I don't think the show will hold. I was hoping to fly a couple Litchi routes, only have snow below for comparison. I saw a great technique where the video transitions from one season to the next over the exact same footage. I've also seen it transition day to night; pretty cool. Here are a few Instagram shots: https://www.instagram.com/usadronepilots/. I've got to get up in the air and get some new stuff so I can add more. Ace https://searchdronepilots.com
