  3. Hey drone flyers! I tried out my very first wedding video plus it's fully shot by drone. I did it for free as my friend asked me to, but because of that I couldn't really give directions to people as to what I wanted them to do or where to go. I listed the things that I learned and hopefully you'd find them useful! Thanks for watching and congratulations to the couple! Matthew and Alina | Wedding Video Things I Learned:1. Drones can work handheld but may be jittery at times and even over-compensate with it's stabilizer when swinging the drone left to right.2. I prefer controlling wit
  4. Here's the definitive version with all transitions fixed! Thanks for checking it out! DISCOVER EDMONTON 4K
  5. https://youtu.be/tckoA1M9eqM Hello, here I got an Edmonton attractions/sights 4K video, all shot with a drone. It seems, though, that not all clip transitions got exported and some are actually broken. Either way, thank you for watching! This little solo project of mine has been a LOT of work and more challenging than my cinematic drone tutorials up on Youtube! Everything in the project was very time-consuming. Drone videography is also just a hobby I picked up these past few months and being pretty amateur added to the time. Edmonton is Canada’s Festival City, but I can’t fly m
  6. https://youtu.be/_LVLg7RHgso Hey, my Mavic is out for repairs and so I got bored and decided to do this very short clip. Enjoy!
  7. Playstation 4 + DJI Goggles Hi all, I tried out the DJI Drone Goggles on the PS4. Unfortunately, the PS4 only has one HDMI cable so others can’t see what you’re looking at. No headtracking like with the drone as expected. Video quality is good, similar to a PS4 on TV from a decent sitting distance. The HDMI plug is behind the PS4, so using the short stock cable isn’t recommended. PC Gaming Goggles test here PC + DJI Goggles
  8. One of the politicians leading the laws seems to think all drones are toys and used to stalk people in their backyards. I don't know why free tourism advertising through aerial videography is hindered by the government. Currently, restrictions are based on weight. I do hope they make distinctions between racing, leisure, videography and commercial drone use in the upcoming laws. I heard Calgary has city by-laws that won't let you fly in it. I also heard big commercial companies in Vancouver shut down and report small aspiring drone flyers so they can keep their space.
  9. Hey, I don't work commercially and have been flying this first drone for just over two months. I doubt I'd get a job this early on haha Unfortunately, Canada has some 'temporary' strict laws right now. These blanket rules include being unable to fly 75m close to buildings. I end up going to parks where no one is around and flying vertically from there to legally fly. My house is too close to other houses so I can't vary my scenery haha. I'm thinking of doing one for moving objects, like bikes/vehicles with me or family/friends driving. Thanks for checking my videos out!
  10. Thank you! I hope they would be of some help to starters like me. I wish I could redo some of them, or color them differently, but whatever haha
  11. https://youtu.be/DmduyQUlDbs I should've posted onto this sub-forum, but I placed it in the wrong category. Anyways, I tried out the DJI Goggles for a quick PC gaming session. It was completely plug and play with no hassles involved. Also, I apologize for the out of focus video quality. Thanks for watching! Here are my opinions on it.1. Unfortunately, the low latency head tracking that works with drones doesn't work when passed through the HDMI cable.2. The video quality is surprisingly decent (1080p on each eye).3. My computer easily recognized it as a monitor input, but Star Citizen at t

  13. Warp Stable Footage So, someone told me about warp-stabilizing the wobbly footage. It does smooth out the video quite a bit, with minor warps in the clouds. Here it is!
  14. Tilt-Shift/Diorama Mini Time Lapse in Strong Winds: Mavic Stability+Battery Test Hi, here’s an unplanned short video of a tilt-shift/miniature/diorama with the Mavic Pro. I was initially planning to see how well and how long it would hover under strong winds and okayish temps. Speeds in the video vary between 100x and 4000x plus a reversed clip. Editing was a lot more work than I expected, so I hope you enjoy watching it! Please check out my tutorial videos and other stuff as well! 16. HowTo: Shoot Multiple POIs/Scapes in 1 Cut w/ Basic/Beginner Drone Moves, Tutorial/Controls/Tips 4K Hello! I made a quick tutorial video on using basic drone maneuvers to capture several POIs/scenes/landscapes in one cut. It’s my 8th day flying a drone and 3rd video with Premiere Pro so it won’t be as pro as others but I would love to hear any form of feedback. There seems to be a shortage of cinematic drone tutorials so I thought I’d make a second one for beginners. All controls I used pop out as text in the bottom of the video for referencing. If you enjoy this video, I’ll plug in m
