  1. I truly appreciate that Steve and I'm truly excited to learn from so many enthusiasts and professionals of all levels. Hopefully, I'll be able to contribute value to the community.
  2. Welcome @Bryanne and best wishes for your new hobby (and perhaps commercial use). Glad to see someone very new to this as I am. Curious as to why not the Galaxy Tab S2? Have you heard bad reviews of it in this application? Keep us informed of how you like the Spark as a beginner's drone as you learn to fly. I recently purchased (and returned) a Syma X5C for that purpose but determined soon enough that it's control functions were not very good, nor was battery life -- thus the return. I have a Mavic Pro but looking for something to learn with that has that quality controller. Again, welcome to the community!
  3. Welcome @Sbiriguda and I like the way your mind works. Didn't take much arm twisting, eh? Best of luck and I look forward to following your posts.
  4. Welcome @mariosdarios and I am looking forward to following your posts. Best wishes for your success!

  9. Hello Tom and welcome to the UAV Coach forum. Wishing you success and enjoyment! I just watched an interesting interview on YouTube: Matt WhoIsMatt Johnson interview of Tyler Herrinton . Tyler owns a commercial drone photography business with his wife Ash. Their website is http://theherrintons.com/ and its full of their productions and advice. Happy shooting!
  10. Hello Brian and welcome to the UAV Coach forum. Wishing you success and enjoyment! I too am retired military (and retired civilian) and looking to obtain my remote pilot certification. Currently enrolled in Drone Pilot Ground School course.
  11. Hello Scott and welcome to the UAV Coach forum. Wishing you success and enjoyment in the Drone club with your students. Personally, I would go with a good middle of the road drone for beginners as it can take some practice and crashes will be inevitable. Something that is stable, controllable, and with good photo & video resolution. I would suggest perhaps the DJI Spark or the DJI Air depending on the grant amount you are working with. They both have good technical capabilities and high quality output for the price. Stay away from the really cheap starter drones.
