  1. Hi pilots,I'm excited to update on the latest developments from SkyWatch.AI.For those of you who are not familiar, SkyWatch.AI is a mobile app offering on-demand insurance and safety features, allowing drone pilots to pay less for flying safely.Yesterday we officially launched SkyWatch Plus, a monthly drone insurance plan for commercial pilots. Our monthly plan is dynamic, flexible and incorporates existing insurance discounts into the price. We've been testing it with a group of selected pilots to make sure the process is simple, fast and transparent. Of course, our team is available to provide the best tailor-made solution for each pilot whether it's an on-demand hourly coverage or a long-term plan. I'd be happy to hear your feedback and answer any question you have!Ilan
  2. Taking on an enterprise contract is not just "a gig", it demands a professional approach to risk analysis through every stage of the mission. In the following article, I share insights from SkyWatch.AI 's data and my experience in risk analysis, aviation safety, and mission management. https://skyward.io/flying-for-enterprises-drone-insurance-risk-analysis-for-contractors/ Thanks to Skyward.io for hosting the article on their blog.
  3. Great step for Flytrex with the expansion of its service in the Icelandic capital. https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-44466353
  4. How do you organize your gear for a commercial job? What does your field setup look like? Is there any safety-related measurement you are taking? Please share photos if you can
  5. Very interesting! https://techcrunch.com/2018/05/07/microsoft-and-dji-team-up-to-bring-smarter-drones-to-the-enterprise/ My take: Microsoft takes a big step into the drone industry and I believe we will see more drone-AI integrations coming from startups in the upcoming year.
  6. Thanks Luke! I'll try to keep updating in the forum as we progress with the app. After coming back from AUVSI Xponential we'll surely have more exciting news coming.
  7. Hi all, My name is Ilan and I'm from SkyWatch.AI , a startup focused on creating a flight safety, risk analysis, and insurance platform. In the past couple of months, we've been running our beta version within our commercial drone pilots test group and two days ago we released our official mobile app in the US, currently available for iOS and Android. We got some amazing feedback from commercial pilots that helped us improve our service and safety solutions. I invite you to try our app and if you have a comment, suggestion, question or any relevant feedback I'd be happy to hear and assist. Get the app here
