  1. This couldn't be more true. They're pretty sturdy little buggers.
  2. @tony drone How are you liking them? Fatsharks are definitely pretty expensive, so it's always interesting to hear about something cheaper.
  3. @Roadking Have you tried Airmap? https://www.airmap.io
  4. Anytime, @Jack Telford . I'm genuinely interested to watch what you do with it. Please drop back in -- I can see plenty of ways to work together.
  5. @Aaron Pickering I'll never get tired of seeing 4K aerial clips. I loaded it up on my 4K TV and it looks awesome, Aaron. How was your experience editing 4K for the first time?
  6. I'll always miss Final Cut Pro 7, which was, in my opinion, the best designed video editing program... ever (so easy to use), but even with the new changes, it's hard to beat Final Cut Pro.
  7. @Alan Perlman Absolutely. I'll get it queued up. @flyingmonkey Do you have a Facebook page you want me to tag for the video credit?
  8. @Orangutan39 I'm in a similar purchasing predicament as you. I have a small Hubsan x4 that I've played around with and am probably going to use for some training, but I'm also considering making my first 'big boy' purchase in the UAV/UAS world. Like you, I've looked around a bit and have my eye on the DJI Phantom line as it looks pretty solid and is also in my price range for this purchase. The other two that I'm considering are the Yuneec Q500 4K and the 3DR Solo, but it really just comes down to exactly what I want to spend and what I'm looking to get out of it. I'm hoping to look arou
  9. Welcome to the forum! Your English is FAR better than my Swedish, so I think you're doing just fine If you don't mind me asking, what are you currently flying? Sweden is beautiful and I'd love to see some aerial shots of it.
  10. @Air One I personally use Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro for video editing, but if you want a pretty powerful and free video editing tool for Windows, I'd recommend Lightworks. They also have an entire tutorial suite on their website that can help you out and a free beginning seminar that you can schedule: http://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=162&Itemid=246&start=v12_5
  11. @Jack Telford It's certainly a pretty site from an aesthetic point and the Flipside feature is a great use of javascript -- great job on that element. I've built similar sites before and I think one thing you might run into is that you've got a beautiful site with a pretty neat feature element in the Flipside, but the UI design doesn't make it necessarily easier to consume the content and it doesn't hook me into staying on the page. That's my feelings for the desktop version, but when you take the responsive smartphone and tablet versions, it's a much more pleasing reading experience for
  12. @DesCas Great job on this piece. It's a beautiful view of Sedona. I'm assisting with the UAV Coach Facebook page. Would you mind if I shared the video on our Facebook page sometime?
  13. Hello to all of you UAV fans -- my name is Ryan. Fortunately for me, Alan and UAV Coach have decided to let me join in on the fun here with the UAV Coach social media accounts. Over the upcoming weeks, I'm going to be sharing articles, videos and content related to UAVs and drones over on the Facebook page. I know we've got a wide variety of levels when it comes to pilots on here from amateurs to veterans, so I'm looking forward to having some discussions with you about the way the industry is moving and checking out some sweet tech in the process. So, if you're not already a fan of the p
