    PXFmini presentation

    Hello everyone! We are Erle Robotics, a young robotics company, and we want to show you the autopilot shield we´ve developed for the Raspberry Pi family. It is called the PXFmini and it is an open autopilot daughter-board for the Raspberry Pi Zero / W. Here you've some pictures: This board allows you to create a ready-to-fly autopilot with support for Dronecode’s APM flight stack. This little board weighs only 15 grams and embeds all the power electronics necessary to comply with most of the existing components for drones through its I2C and UART port. It has 8PWM servo output channels and a PPMSUM input. PXFmini includes: 3 axes gravity sensor 3 axes gyroscope 3 axes digital compass pressure sensor temperature sensor ADC for battery sensing In order to improve the user's experience we work side by side with amazing open source communities to provide support for the de facto standard platforms for drones: the popular APM and PX4 autopilots. The shield has been designed specially for the Raspberry Pi Zero / W but it is also pin-to-pin compatible with the following boards: - Raspberry Pi - Raspberry Pi 2 - Raspberry Pi 3 - Raspberry Pi Zero / W If you want to know more visit us at erlerobotics.com! We have done some interesting projects with this little but powerful board. As an example, a $200 Smart Drone With the Pi Zero: Pi Zero Drone video We will be posting the previous one and more projects soon! Hope you like it!!
  2. TF02 is a single-point ranging LiDAR, used by drone for measuring the relative altitude from the ground, ensuring the stable altitude. It is available for the following flight control brands: Pixhawk4, APM, TopXGun, EFY Technology, JiYi, aiAero, DAISCH, etc. TF02 has the following features: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OHZHhBZF2SE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Distance Measurement Performance: 1. Longer indoor and outdoor measurement range (indoor: 22m; outdoor: above 10m); 2. Lower noise. Almost no abnormal data within effective range; 3. Sound signal discrimination algorithm for identification of abnormal data; 4. Higher repeated accuracy of distance measurement Overall Performance: 1. Higher protection level, up to IP65; 2. Pesticide corrosion resistant, with special enclosure material capable of resisting corrosion of most of the pesticides; 3. Work normally even with optical window being contaminated by dirty water, sludge and other pollutants; 4. Shock resistance. Unique design makes it more solid, shock resistant and infrangible; 5. Additional function of bootloader to facilitate further software upgrade;

  4. Hi Everyone, DroneDeploy explores the questions people should consider before purchasing a drone for their business. It walks through the benefits/compares multi-rotor vs. fixed wing. There's also a link to a comprehensive 38-page buyer's guide. I hope you find this useful. https://blog.dronedeploy.com/choosing-the-right-mapping-drone-for-your-business-part-i-multi-rotor-vs-fixed-wing-aircraft-6ec2d02eff48
  5. Hey everyone, I use apps such as Airmap and Kittyhawk for vector maps of restrictions of where I'm flying. However, many times I see advisories that pop up and wondering if these are actually restrictions that prohibit me to fly in these areas. The advisories show up in yellow, such as the image I attached, and when there is a restricted area, such as Class B, C, D, and E, it shows up as red. Thanks!
  6. Hello all, I just joined the community and started flying with a DJI Spark- enjoy the hobby so far and hope to learn more about it as time continues within the forum!

    NEEED HELP!!!

    Hi my name is Tristan, I have tried everything I can think of to get my GoolRC fsi6 transmitter with their version of the fs-ia6 to work with my eachine x220 ARF from Banggood. The tx and rx are bound. This is my first time using any of this hardware and my first time using Betaflight which is what the quad uses. I've tried all the different receiver modes in Betaflight but none work. The quad is plugged into B/VCC port of the receiver which should be right since it is bound. The motors spin up when I use Betaflight and the VTX is working with my goggles, but I cant get the transmitter/receiver to work with the quad. I wish it was the other way around. I don't really know what to do. Thank you for reading, Tristan.

  16. Hi Christian I finished the editing class a little while back and really enjoyed it and learned so much. This is my first experience with any NLE. I loved the class. I am submitting my video to be reviewed at your convenience and if you could provide feedback that would be outstanding. We have started a LLC called Head In The Clouds Aerial Photography based out of New Port Richey Florida. I created this reel to show what we can capture throughout Florida for potential customers.You will find some short clips of some of my favorite shots while traveling. The answers to your questions are below and the video is at this youtube link 1. I used Final Cut Pro 2. The resolution is 1920x1080p 60fps 3. I am doing this course to improve my editing skills to better serve clients. 4. I choose something with more hits to the music to really pronounce the clip changes. 5. I wanted the feel to be wow I want to go check out Florida. 6. The story I am trying to tell is there is beauty everywhere you look and from above its brought to the forefront. 7. The three most important things I learned was how to share the video, correctly using transitions, adding and editing music. Once again thanks for this class. I look forward to continuing my education and providing excellent opportunities through drone footage to highlight what the industry can offer. I appreciate the community and your feedback. Thank you, Mariano Cruz

  20. I came across this video on another site I am always uploading my drone footage on. This "Droning America" show seems to have a very cool concept. In this particular episode the host travels to San Diego and interviews a drone pilot from there. When you have some time check it out and let me know what you think of this concept. https://www.airvuz.com/video/Droning-America-San-Diego-CA?id=58ab5ec5f24adb57695ea53a Thanks

I particulary want to travel to Indonesia and i found several websites with information, but no one official. 23. Planning a trip to Orlando to fly your drone around? Might wanna check out this news story first (link below). I came across this today and I guess the popular Florida city has added some new drone laws and ordinances for UAV pilots. Sounds like perfect timing for them to implement something like this with Spring Break about to start. https://www.airvuz.com/video/AV-News-Orlando-Drone-Ordinance?id=58a753168f3fe63b60c9ed16
  24. Hi I am new to this forum and just checking out how things work around here. Seems very informative, and I think I will really enjoy it. I have been droning for over a year now but recently just got a DJI Mavic and feel like I have entered a whole new world of drones. Everything about this little drone is amazing! Here is the first video that I took in downtown Minneapolis the other day with my Mavic: https://www.airvuz.com/video/Mavic-Meets-Gold-Medal-Park?id=58a26c619d17f44d8d064372 Thanks!
