  1. The city of Garfield banned flying drones under hobby rules to folks' own property - basically their own yards. I think more cities will continue down this path. Here's the link to the article: City basically bans drones beyond backyard: http://www.northjersey.com/story/news/bergen/garfield/2017/06/07/city-basically-bans-drones-beyond-backyard/371540001/ For some reason the newspaper reported it was only ok to fly drones above 400' and not under. I think more communities will go down this route and restrict flying under the hobby rules to not allow drones to fly over towns.
