Very excited to join this drone Community. My first drone was a phantom 1. Graduated to a phantom 4 a couple years ago but have now moved more into FPV and building quads. On top of being a drone nerd, I am a car nerd. I have a Nissan 370z and when I’m not ripping a battery or building a drone I’m probably working on the Z or doing something with my car. I'm currently studying to get my Part 107 license and I'm from Boston, MA as the title suggests and would love to find other pilots in the area to fly with.Anyways, hyped to be here. Here’s a link to one of my FPV videos and some pics of my almost complete 6S build and my 370Z!Cheers from New England!
Hi everyone, My name is Jay and I’m a newbie to the drone community, located up in New England, New Hampshire to be exact! I'm a Motion Graphics Artist / VFX Artist by trade, and I'm looking to incorporate custom drone cinematography & photography into my work. I'm really pumped I came across this website, it looks like an amazing place to start learning! I'll be looking to take the Part 107 Test as soon as I can - any advice / guidance is much appreciated. Also, if anyone is curious, you can check out my work here: https://jaydonohue.myportfolio.com/ Cheers, Jay Donohue
Hey all, my name is Sean. I work for a national engineering firm. Over the past year I've taken the initiative to start a drone service in our firm. I am currently the only Part 107 Certified Pilot in the company. I currently fly an Inspire 2 and will be getting an Inspire 1 for thermal imaging in the near future. I am looking for any advice on streamlining FAA Airspace Authorization (understanding LAANC is not available here yet but hoping for early 2018), as a lot of our work doesn't allow me to plan as far in advance as the FAA would like. Hoping to get some advice to questions as they arise. Thanks!
