  1. Hi all, we're doing our best to track local drone laws by U.S. state and by country and wanted to share the link here to make it easy for anyone to find / comment on laws we might be missing: https://uavcoach.com/drone-laws/ Hat tip to power-member @Steve Bennett for the original forum post back in 2017 or so that got me thinking about doing our own directory of local drone laws instead of relying on, let's just say more sub-par sources of information
  2. Hi, I was hoping someone has some experience using a drone while traveling. I am starting my trip in Cuba which complicates the things. I am aware that drones are not permitted there. I was thinking of sending the drone to Peru which is my next stop. I am not sure how to register a drone on the border on arrival to Peru. Is it even worth all the troubles? Any help would be appreciated
  3. Greetings from Chico, California. I am a newbie in the Drone industry. I am a licensed private investigator http://www.jedgarpi.com . My purpose for Drone training is to utilize the Drone in investigations, specifically in surveillance, activity checks, and insurance claims investigation.
  4. For those who have not seen this yet. The fine was negotiated but bear in mind it was sort of a barter deal. They traded off making PSA's. Folks don't realize that the NYC area is HIGHLY controlled airspace and FAA has a very large staff in the area as well. Know your airspace! For Immediate Release January 17, 2017 Contact: Laura Brown (laura.j.brown@faa.gov) / Les Dorr (les.dorr@faa.gov) Phone: 202-359-3680 or 202-267-3461 WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration today announced a comprehensive settlement agreement
  5. Hi everyone! Sharing results from a recent study we conducted on U.S. drone regulations. I know a lot of you took part, and I wanted to personally thank you for your engagement. I was blown away with how many responses we got and think the insights from the survey are pretty telling of where we're at right now. Looking forward to your comments: http://uavcoach.com/survey
