I've been developing OhWowGolf.com for the past three years...and I'm looking for forward-thinking pilots from every city in the US. This is an independent contractor position. Take a look at the "For Drone Pilots" page to discover if we're a good fit for each other? Having some knowledge about the golf industry is a plus but not a requirement. Pilots will earn no less than $900 for filming each golf course and will be compensated residual income year-after-year for filming it one time.
Good Afternoon Everyone, I recently launch a digital marketing agency that focuses solely on the golfing industry. One of the services I offer is hole-by-hole guided tours. I'm looking for an individual/team that lives in South Florida (Atlantic side of the state) to do contract work as part of my team. I posted this job on droners.io and was overwhelmed with the responses from all over the country. I unfortunately was not specific about the location of the individual/team, so I'm hoping to make that clear here, I just want Florida based licensed UAV/Drone operators. I really appreciate your time and please reach out if you have any questions/interested. I'll be in Boca Raton from May 1-11 and I'm looking to meet prior to agreeing to any terms. Thanks, Matthew Neumann
I have been asked if I could fly the event. I already have a authorization to fly the area (maximum of 100ft) from the FAA, but I know it's impossible to get the Part 107.39 waiver. I think they are largely looking for the very beginning when everyone is in their carts and shooting off to their respective holes. There are multiple areas I can gain footage of this that won't be over people or within even 100ft. If I tether the uav so that it is impossible for it to go out of this "safe" area do you think I should accept the job? Thanks in Advance
By way of introduction, I am Dave Hunt. I am an Associate Professor of Sociology at Augusta University in Augusta, GA. I teach all of my classes online, including a Sociology of Golf Class. I got my drone in order to take aerial videos of our university golf course to use in the presentation of my class in our online learning management system (D2L). I am also the Faculty Athletics Representative at AU and I plan to use the drone to help our athletics marketing team create videos of our sporting events and student-athletes. I purchased a DJI Phantom 4 and look forward to learning how to use it and obtain my license.
