I got the below email from the MultiGP team. Unfortunately no one on our team will be able to make it, but happy to bestow field reporting duties to someone who's able to be in Muncie, Indiana and wants a free Press Pass! -- Good Day, My name is __________________ and I am responsible for press relations with MultiGP. As a member of the Radio Controlled Modeling community we want to formally invite you to the MultiGP International Open, Featuring Rotor Riot. The event is taking place at the Academy of Model Aeronautics Headquarters in Muncie, IN, August 9th – 13th. MultiGP is planning on this being one of the largest FPV events of the year. Some of the planned highlights: 5 day event On site at the 1,200 AMA Headquarters 8 different themed (Freestyle, SPEC, Wing, Team, Rookie, etc.) FPV flying fields The ROTOR RIOT Team will be in attendance for the entire event Daily fun fly events Daily competitions Vendor presence RV and Camping (additional fee) on site MultiGP would like to offer you a complimentary Press Pass for access the entire International Open as a media representative. We encourage you to come out and share your experience with your followers; blog, VLOG, live stream, share, and podcast directly from the event! We also ask that you help us to spread the word about the International Open leading up to the event (example: we are currently running an early bird registration which saves the pilots some money on the event and enters them in a giveaway). I passed the remote pilot knowledge test this week thanks to Alan's awesome course. It really did prepare me for the exam. I came into this thing with no formal aviation background or training. A word to everyone taking the exam make sure you know the sectional charts.
...this place rocks....I was at work during lunch looking up information on my first drone, purchased yesterday....(Chroma 4K)....before I knew it, 2 hours had passed on by!! Lot's of helpful information spread all over this site..I'll probably need to block myself while at the office
