Mainly in cheap drones so that I can fly without getting overly concerned about losing one I started with the smaller variety and have gradually moved upward in size. My goal is to gradually get better and save up to have a more professional platform that can follow path and video the progress. I read up constantly on se
  2. Hi, I'm a new drone enthusiast and would like suggestions on where to start. On vacation I ran into a guy flying his drone and had such a great chat with him I thought I'd like to do that too. I would very much appreciate any and all suggestions on where to start, licensing, training and anything else you all could share about learning about drones and career opportunities. I'm in los Angeles so if any locals are willing to take on an apprentice I'm open!

  6. Hi, I'm very new to this drone scene but very intrigued and plan to buy one sooner than later. The question is, what to buy, especially as a new drone operator? Should I expect a lot of crashes and just buy a junk one first? Or get what seems like the best fit for me and just go for it and don't crash ; ). Maybe I'm expecting a harder learning curve than it will be. Seems like you have to buy before you can try and fly one, i.e. no test flying product available it seems. On product; I've seen the Phantoms and the Inspire both from dji. A cinematographer I met recently was the one encou
