  2. Heeeey everyone!!! Long time didn't post anything. Upgrading my hardware and learning Adobe Premier. Anyway here's a fresh one! Narrow Gauge Railway was built by german prisoners after the WW2. It was 28 km long some time. And yes. I smash the drone to bushes. Those tiny sticks is invisible with out leafs. Especially during the rainy day. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

  4. Hey all - awhile back, maybe a year or more ago I heard that if you update the Mavic Pro firmware it was locking people out of being able to fly even if you had permission to fly in those areas. I wasn't sure if everyone experienced that or not? I haven't updated my firmware in forever because I was afraid of that. I do a lot commercial work for architects and the local airport is super cool about giving permission over the phone, especially when I'm only doing 50-100ft AGL flights within 50-100 yards of the home point. (I'm part 107 certified as well) I recently got the Mavic Air and it's newer firmware has prevent me from taking off in spots saying "cannot take off" on the screen, even if I have permission, so I always have my Mavic Pro ready to go as well. Now I'm headed to China for a company specifically to shoot Tea Plantations for their business. (DSLR photo/video & drone shots.) I'd love to take the Mavic Air because of it's size for travel, but I'm afraid I'm going to get over there and get that "cannot take off" message. Let me be clear, I'm not saying I want to make illegal flights. I just want to be able to fly in the areas I should be able to fly, class G, and in the middle of nowhere in a tea field, or in places that I've been given permission to fly. The controller obviously doesn't know that I've been given permission though. Anyone had this issue, know a way around it, or an article pointing to this firmware issue? Better yet, anyone in China been flying around tea fields in Shoaxing, Nanning, or Pu'er City? I see a few geo zones on the DJI website map, but I think the tea fields will be out in the country away from them. Thanks so much for the help - Mike.
  5. Venta Rapid (Latvian: Ventas rumba) is a waterfall on the Venta River in Kuldiga, Latvia. It is the widest waterfall in Europe at 249 metres (817 ft), and becomes as wide as 270 metres (886 ft) during spring floods. The height of the falls vary from 1.80 to 2.20 metres (5 ft 11 in to 7 ft 3 in) depending on the level of water in the river. 240 m from the waterfall is located the famous Kuldiga brick bridge. It was built in 1874 and is the longest operating brick bridge in Europe. Built to the building standards of the time it's wide enough for two carriages to pass. Its width is 8 m and its length is 164 m. It was modeled after the bridge on Moselle river in Germany that was erected at the time of Roman Empire. Kuldiga brick bridge was renovated in 2008 and is now in operation.

  8. It was my worst flight at all times. ))) Flying around and near TV Tower, face the drone with strong signal interference and keep losing signal over and over. When I try to film ascending close to the tower it reminds me Don Quichotte story )))) Anyway I got enough footage to compile a small movie with tallest TV Tower in Europe! Enjoy!

  17. I've been experimenting with improving my storytelling skills and getting better at weaving a story on my videos. I shot this video during my vacation in the Azores, near the Capelinhos Volcano that erupted from the sea about 60 years ago. The video starts with a quick historic overview and then shows you what it looks like today. Aerials were shot with the DJI Mavic Air.
  18. Hey everyone just wanted to say hello. I am new to the industry and I passed my part 107 a little over a week ago. I am waiting for my temp certificate currently. I own a Phantom Pro 4 V2 and a Mavic Air. I live in the Dallas area and I am looking to do aerial imagery full time. I have taken professional photos on the ground lol for about 7 years now and I am looking forward to this up and coming industry. Has anyone had any issues with the Altitude program for autonomous missions? I read that it has lead to some people having crashes.... is litchi better? Hopefully the FAA will hurry up with my temp certification. Has anyone flown for insurance companies after natural disasters? I tried to upload some photos but it looks like they are to big. Currently working on a website... it’s accessible but per the message I have up it’s coming soon :) www.differentperspectivemedia.com I look forward to learning from everyone on here! -David
