Very excited to join this drone Community. My first drone was a phantom 1. Graduated to a phantom 4 a couple years ago but have now moved more into FPV and building quads. On top of being a drone nerd, I am a car nerd. HI - I am a member of a Search and Rescue unit in Maine, and have recently joined the York County UAS team. We have meetings about once a month. As a volunteer, I can use a privately-owned drone for SAR as long as a 107 pilot is supervising the search, but to use the County-owned drones (some of which have neat features such as FLIR cameras), I have to get a 107 license - which is how I found this site. I look forward to learning a lot here!
Hi everyone, My name is Jay and I’m a newbie to the drone community, located up in New England, New Hampshire to be exact! I'm a Motion Graphics Artist / VFX Artist by trade, and I'm looking to incorporate custom drone cinematography & photography into my work. I'm really pumped I came across this website, it looks like an amazing place to start learning! I'll be looking to take the Part 107 Test as soon as I can - any advice / guidance is much appreciated. Also, if anyone is curious, you can check out my work here: https://jaydonohue.myportfolio.com/ Cheers,
