  1. 16 out of 71 Cinematic Drone Moves/Maneuvers/Techniques Hey all, I made a follow-up tutorial/how-to video of 16 MORE aerial cinematic movements/techniques complete with controls and some tips for a total of 71 maneuvers. I hope this can help new and intermediate drone flyers focus on the creative side. It’s my 11th day flying the drone so feedback is highly appreciated. My original video with 55 moves/maneuvers is here - https://youtu.be/NMX2u1Pbs4s Facebook Page, Aerial Film and Photo - https://www.facebook.com/dronefilmphoto Which ones are your favourites? Which ones do you currently use most frequently? Any moves not on this video that you would like to share? Feel free to pause the video any time. Thanks for watching!!
  2. HowTo: Shoot Multiple POIs/Scapes in 1 Cut w/ Basic/Beginner Drone Moves, Tutorial/Controls/Tips 4K Hello! I made a quick tutorial video on using basic drone maneuvers to capture several POIs/scenes/landscapes in one cut. It’s my 8th day flying a drone and 3rd video with Premiere Pro so it won’t be as pro as others but I would love to hear any form of feedback. There seems to be a shortage of cinematic drone tutorials so I thought I’d make a second one for beginners. All controls I used pop out as text in the bottom of the video for referencing. If you enjoy this video, I’ll plug in my first tutorial video here as well. 3. Does anyone know if you can use DJI Point of Interest flying on a non-circular path? All of the videos and instructional info I've seen talks about flying around a tree. What about flying around a rectangular building, for example... a house or other building? You could still set altitude and distance from the object but would a (say, Phantom 4) fly around a rectangular structure or object? Thanks in advance for any responses.
  4. So last night I am out shooting a local riding stable-- really beautiful setup and perfect sunset weather, and the P4 point of interest mode won't engage. It was my first time using it and watched some tutorials and it seemed pretty straight forward. Go high, aim camera straight down at focal point, and then set the rotation speed and distance on the slider, but the slider wouldn't budge. The drone is sitting there a 200ft while I am pawing at my cell phone with my oversize fingers and I wasted 2-3 minutes of battery trying to get it work. Finally I just did the thing manually but it wasn't nearly as smooth as it would have been using POI. Any thoughts?
  5. I'm getting more comfortable with the controls of the P3S and this weekend I decided to go to the beach in the evening to try out some additional capabilities, like the automated orbiting using the Point-of-Interest (POI) features. I also tried to do more of a planned shoot to try to create content that would allow me to edit and produce a very simple storyline and dynamic video. Check it out, it's one of my favorite videos so far:
