I haven’t found a way to use my 107 license yet, but am working on it. I am now operating a Wet Suited Phantom 4 Pro filming local Frac Sand Plants in the hope of slowing or stopping their proliferation. www.lookdownpictures.com is the web site. Go to https://lookdownpictures.com/alma2/ To see the evolution of a farmer’s field into a full fledged Frac Sand Mine. View 8 or 9 dated fly-arounds and 8 - 360 degree interactive panoramas. I try to get down to Alma Ctr WI every week and do another progress report on the mine there At any rate I was approached to help a local farmer learn how to fly a Phantom 4 Pro, and ended up writing a web based user manual. FREE CHECKLIST for Phantom 4 Pro (and others) Every good pilot uses checklists. Regard your Phantom 4 Pro or other quality UAV as a toy and it will end up as most toys do…broken or lost. As you gain experience with this device you will come to appreciate the sophistication and planning that went into its design and come to know its true performance envelope; (Pilot talk). www.anydummycanflyadrone.com is an encyclopedia of subjects that the competent drone pilot must know. Use the checklist, browse the index and subscribe if what you see interests you. Hank
I was recently given an S900 to fix up for a client. It came with a battery and a controller but I have hit a wall when figuring out how to charge the drone's 16000 mah Masione battery. My problem is with the balancing connector, it's a lot like a typical 6 cell balance connector but it's smaller and the plastic guiding pieces on the male end that fit in the grooves of the female end are a bit closer to center. I just spent two full days looking for something to make this work on the internet and visited multiple local hobby shops ... Please help!
We shot his footage last fall at Jump Off Rock in Hendersonville, NC. We wanted to highlight the beauty of the area we call home. Other than some luma and contrast tweaks the colors you see are as they were. We also wanted see if we could pull off a CW 360 POI with a CCW 360 gimbal rotation while dropping 30 meters at the apex then returning to the starting altitude. It was a shot that came to me while we were there. We hadn't this before and this was our only attempt. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.
