  1. It was a a USSR Army Base during USSR. Now almost all infrastructure demolished and just an old Watch Tower and some artillery spots remains around https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZDnYSugZh4
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdchpXo2KSs&frags=pl%2Cwn Hey guys, I just made this video of my trip to Thailand, it’s all shot on GoPro and the Mavic Air. I would really appreciate it if you would spend a few minuts to check it out and maybe sub + like and comment the video as well. It would mean the world to a newbie like me Thank you so much!
  3. Hi, I was hoping someone has some experience using a drone while traveling. I am starting my trip in Cuba which complicates the things. I am aware that drones are not permitted there. I was thinking of sending the drone to Peru which is my next stop. I am not sure how to register a drone on the border on arrival to Peru. Is it even worth all the troubles? Any help would be appreciated
  4. Hello. I will be traveling to South Africa in January from the United States. Wondering if I will encounter any issues bringing my drone with me. It's a Mavic Air and I'll be bringing accessories including extra batteries, the remote controller and a crystal sky. Am I allowed to bring the drone with me or will it be confiscated before entering the country? Anyone visit there recently with a drone care to share their experiences? First time traveling internationally with a drone so any tips would be great. Thanks in advance!
  5. Link Here: https://forum.dji.com/thread-169964-1-1.html Hi all, I have listed some TIPS when capturing drone footage during the Fall season. The guide talks about PL filters, sensors, trees, birds, and LUTS in the link above. Hopefully some of you might find it useful. THanks for giving it a look!
  6. Hello fellow dronists! I made a short guide full of tips when travelling with your drone. I organized the tips into stages such as preparation, pre-flight and flight just make content a bit more digestable. Feel free to give your own advice to help those who are looking to travel in the future. Any suggestions would be good too! As a disclaimer, this is my entry to the Epic Aerial Guides contest. I hope you enjoy it!LINK HERE
  7. Hello fellow flyers! I just finished a light-hearted guide when it comes to travelling with your drone. I split the tips into phases such as preparation, pre-flight and flight just to organize the content a bit better. Feel free to input your own advice so those who are looking to travel may be more equipped with the potential challenges. Any feedback would be good too! 8. Hello, I stayed at this inexpensive beachfront spot in the Philippines, close to some beaches/sandbars, marine life, and falls. I’ve never really “featured” a location so let any feedback to make my video better would be great! There are drone shots and Gopro clips on this one. Thanks for watching!
  9. Hey fellow flyers, Each time my drone took off, I’ve come to enjoy exploring El Nido a whole lot more! So, I am sharing with you some of my aerial footage. Personally, I still prefer Coron (also in Palawan, Philippines) due to a lot more fish variety when snorkelling, a few Japanese shipwrecks and some remote islands. Of course, the footage here doesn’t do the place justice so feel free to visit and explore! https://youtu.be/jYhQiXaGKRU

  11. Hello! Here’s Manjuyod Sandbar, one of our honeymoon spots early February. It can be reached by boat from Bais City (Negros) but we came from my hometown, Cebu. Negros is now the best way as new permits are needed for boat operators to work in the area. This was way more work than I expected because of the time ramps. Please enjoy the short video!
  12. An Ode To Fall Hello! Here I got a 2-minute cinematic of lovely autumn weather here in my city. I used some moves from my cinematic drone tutorial videos, which you can also check out if you’re free! Thanks for watching!

  15. https://youtu.be/tckoA1M9eqM Hello, here I got an Edmonton attractions/sights 4K video, all shot with a drone. It seems, though, that not all clip transitions got exported and some are actually broken. Either way, thank you for watching! This little solo project of mine has been a LOT of work and more challenging than my cinematic drone tutorials up on Youtube! Everything in the project was very time-consuming. Drone videography is also just a hobby I picked up these past few months and being pretty amateur added to the time. Edmonton is Canada’s Festival City, but I can’t fly my drone near crowds to capture the hundred or so festivals each year. I couldn’t wait for the big ones that are coming soon, plus I work a lot of weekends when these events are usually held. I look silly enough holding my drone out and shooting on the ground haha. There are also tons more things to do and see in the city, especially the bike trails, food, and winter activities. I've only started with drones and videography early March this year, so any advice would be gladly taken! Thank you for watching!
  16. I was invited to a military change of command ceremony for an old friend's son a few states over from Mississippi. As any good entrepreneur would do I looked into making it a business trip and started looking for drone/UAS jobs between "yar n thar" and came up with many. So I want to encourage my fellow drone/UAS pilots to see your business as a way to also squeeze in some travel/fun/opportunities as you drone and travel. As a previous blogger said - remember courthouses, etc. in the small towns across America. To add to that courthouse list look at small airports, churches, scenic recreational areas (check local laws though). Also remember to keep it safe and not fly over people and remember to do your airspace waivers (if needed) 60-90 days out. And yes you can do an airspace waiver ahead of time for a church, area, etc. without the business/church, etc. hiring you yet. To do so will cut down on the lead time drastically and if you don't fly the airspace you requested just go back with a cancellation to the FAA. Happy droning and keep it safe!
  17. This is the extended version of a teaser video I've posted here before, hope you enjoy it, I'm experimenting with creating more engaging videos mixing different types of footage and varying the pace of the shots. This was shot during a weekend roadtrip to the Alentejo, during Carnival weekend a couple of weeks ago. Let me know if you'd like to see more of this and be sure to subscribe my youtube channel to get the latest videos I post.
  18. Spent the weekend away at a B&B in Alentejo, Portugal and created a short teaser for a longer video I'm working on to document this trip. Hope you enjoy ! Continue to experiment with mixing different angles to create a more engaging video, using both aerial and other types of shots. This was all shot in about 1hr right before sunset using my trusty DJI Phantom 3 Standard, a Canon DSLR and GoPro Session (for the timelapse). Edited and color graded in Final Cut Pro X.
  19. I'm experimenting with mixing aerial footage from my DJI Phantom 3 Standard and my other cameras (GoPro and a Canon DSLR). I've also been wanting to include more people in my shots and this is my first experiment doing so. Let me know what you think, open to constructive comments ! This was shot in Geres National Park in the north of Portugal.
