Drone Applications to Present at CT GIS User Network Mtg

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

The CT GIS User Network (http://ctgis.uconn.edu/) holds quarterly meetings to discuss the latest happenings in GIS Technology.  We have a scheduled meeting on September 14, 2018 where I like to have a presentation on drone applications in the municipal gov.,  EOC, transportation or any other related field.  The presentations usually run between 30-45 minutes with Q/A.   If you know anyone in the CT region who's been applying drone technology in theses areas successfully and would like to tell their story I would like to here from you.

Hi Steve,

I own and operate AerialScope with my wife in CT.  You can visit our website at www.aerialscopevi.com.  We use the data from our aerial imagery to create 3D models, orthomosaics, DSMs etc.  Our contact information is on our website, if you think we would be a good fit please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you,

Hello Steve,

Always great to see some fellow CT flyers in UAV Community. I have been flying and building custom drones for over 4 years, with the past year as a Licensed Pat 107 commercial pilot. Located in Wethersfield, I have mainly focused on aerial photography http://hanjohn.com/aerials and drone repairs https://repairadrone.com/, but my team and I are developing a custom drone inspection solution with our combined extensive experience in photogrammetry, cloud computing, and drone design. We have presented on a number of occasions about drones and will also be attending Interdrone (the week right before your event on Sept 14). Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions at hj@hanjohn.com

Thank you

Han John
