University of Dayton Impact Test: Drone vs Mooney M20 Wing

Recommended Posts

DJI, today, issued a statement on this test saying that it was "inconceivable in real life," since the aircraft were portrayed to move "at a higher speed than the combined maximum speed of the drone and airplane, which is also faster than U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) testing guidelines."

I sincerely hope that the University of Dayton tells Brandon where he can shove his Phantom along with his threatening letter.

Although I agree that the only thing this test proves is how thin the skin on a Mooney wing is, I think it’s bad PR for the entire sUAS industry when “DJI Demands Withdrawal Of Misleading Drone Collision Video.”

Brendan M. Schulman  “I represent DJI, the world's largest manufacturer of small unmanned aircraft systems, commonly known as drones.”  Just in case the University didn’t know who DJI is?

What an arrogant putz.
