Battery life

Recommended Posts

It it best to storage battery’s with full charge or 50% charge. I read online somewhere in a article that drone battery’s should be drop to 50% if not used within 24 hours. I however have been unable to find anything saying what’s the best practice.

Most drones use lipo batteries. Which mean if you were going to store it, store it around 50% to 70%. I was told that is the best way to store lipos if you are going to leave them longer than a few weeks. (1 1/2 to 2) Hope th at helps.

My Mavic Air has lipo batteries and I charge the batteries to full and they automatically discharge to a safe level (50%) after 10 days.  If not used for a month I will recharge and let them flatten themse4lves.
