Pulling GPS corridates out of DJI software

Recommended Posts

Good Day,

Is there a way to pull the GPS data out of the DJI software?  I am looking for a way to quickly map wildland fires.  My thought is to fly the perimeter with the camera straight down, then find a way to import the GPS data into GIS software.

Anyone have any thoughts or comments?

Thanks in advance.

That is pretty basic and you should have no problem.  Still images are geo-tagged and the a gps track is recorded on the video clips in the subtitle track.

Thanks for the reply!  I might need to be more clear.  Is there a way to pull the flight log out of the DJI software?  So then I could plug the flight log into GIS software.  Like creating a track using a handheld GPS.

Thanks

The easiest way would probably be to use Airdata.com

It will plot your flight and also let you download a .kml to use in other software.

Free and paid options available.
