It's often challenging to find a legal, safe, and visually interesting location to fly your drone, especially in a densely populated area with one or more airports.

After a round of comprehensive research, our team compiled a list of where to fly a drone in Orlando . We also have this list of drone laws in Florida that might be helpful.

Where do you like to fly your drone in Orlando? We welcome your comments/experiences below.

I thought I would let you know of another location that has a designated drone flying area.

Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake (ie- Turkey Lake Park)

Look at the list of "Amenities" on the right side of the web page at the link below.  You will see "Drone Flying Area (dedicated)" toward the bottom of the list.

In the section below that you can get a PDF map of the park.  In the top left corner of the map you will see a symbol of a drone.  That is the designated area.  I called the park and they said the drone park is very popular.  They said there is a local drone club that goes there every Saturday.   I am trying to find that club.

Visited, three (3) out of the five (5) spots listed here, and I was unable to fly my drone. The Cherokee point at St. Cloud is no longer an option. They have a sign at the entrance that prohibit flying drone in the property. I feel this list needs to be updated.
