FPV drone pilots are enjoying a tidal wave of new tech recently. DJI kicked off the trend last month when they launched the DJI Digital FPV System, followed by the Drone Racing League’s release of the new DRL Racer4 Street, and Fat Shark announced that they’ve been working on an HD FPV system called Byte Frost. Now, Parrot is the latest manufacturer to hop on the wagon, announcing the ANAFI FPV just this week.

This may seem like a surprising move on behalf of Parrot considering that the French drone company reported a 45% drop in revenue during the third quarter of 2018 and plans to cut 100 jobs. But, then again the move makes sense since Parrot ceased the production of most of its drones to focus solely on the ANAFI.

Learn more about the ANAFI FPV here and tell us what you think of Parrot’s strategy to stay in the game and maintain its presence in the consumer drone industry in the comments below.
