Drone makerspace instructor one-week paid position

Recommended Posts

I am looking to hire an instructor for a drone makerspace for youth ages 11 to 14 at Regis College in Weston MA. This is a paid position where gear, supplies, a curriculum and training are provided and you would be assisted. Experience in working with youth, DYI, drone tuning, simulation, setup / testing, flying (of course), FPV and so on is required. The successful candidate would be consulted for finalizing the curriculum, so that it best matches their qualifications and experience.

For those of you who are not familiar with the Weston MA location it is considered part of Boston - Metrowest. While preferred for financial reasons, candidates do not need to be from the Boston area, meaning that travel compensation and an on-campus dorm room & meals would be provided.

This is an Edge on Science program. Edge on Science is a place where children can explore applied science and engineering, through individual and team projects.

Yes, this is may be considered a summer school program. More specifically, it is a one time, one week, day academic program, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. I should have mentioned this in the initial message!

Are you, AV8Chuck, interested in this?

From a personal perspective, absolutely.  I think this is great.  Logistically not sure if I could pull something like this off.
