Our friends over at Vimaan Robotics are hiring for roles across the country for UAV drone pilots, technicians and engineers.

Position Description

Vimaan is looking for pilots, technicians and operators for our drones for various customer applications. The job is located in Memphis, TN.

Job Functions

The role will include, but not be limited to:
1. Performing flight testing of new generations of drones
2. Fly drones daily / weekly at customer sites to acquire sensor data, including camera based images and other information
3. Optimize sensor mounting, parameters, and data collection information to meet customer needs
4. Communicate closely with Applications Engineering team to report and resolve issues for continuous improvement
5. Help grow and lead the team at different sites.


The ideal candidate has the following attributes:

1. FAA Part 107 certification desired but not required; strong experience as a pilot for small rotorcraft drones.
2. SW skills: Familiarity with MS and G-Suite products. Bonus if any user experience with Ubuntu and Python.
3. Experience with cameras, FPV, sensors and other applications of drones for commercial applications
4. High School Degree, AA degree or Bachelor's graduates with 0-3 years of experience.
5. Experience working and interfacing with engineers and customers
6. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
