I understand your enthusiasm, BUT SAFETY COMES FIRST! IF YOU HAVE NOT FLOWN DRONES BEFORE, YOU BETTER PRACTISE ON SOMETHING LESS EXPENSIVE AND A LOT LIGHTER.

Very exciting, while i second @Bruno's opinion on wanting to be safe that should by no means stop you from flying and learning on your quad. Just make sure you are practicing deliberately, working on specific skills, and avoiding the drive to fly to high or fast until you really understand what you are doing! If you are interested in augmenting your practice with a cheaper durable drone i always suggest looking at a Hubsan X4 as these run around $50 and are very crash resistant.
